Middle Eastern Recipes

There are so many fantastic vegan and vegetarian middle eastern recipes...

If I could, I would love to travel around the middle eastern countries and study the cuisine, and especially the vegetarian dishes of course.

Fortunately a lot of the recipes have spread around the world, an many are found around the Mediterranean Sea.

Middle Eastern Cuisine

The middle eastern cuisines are usually traditional recipes with a long history.

The plentiful vegetarian and vegan dishes are using beans, grains, herbs, fruits, nuts, an abundance of vegetables and of course- spices; in such a flavorful and healthy way.

Delicious, nutritious and frugal dishes cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients.

Here is a collection of my favorite vegetarian recipes from around the Middle East. I hope you will find and add some favorite recipes to your kitchen as well!

I have tried to use simple ingredients that can be found almost everywhere, since I know it can be really frustrating not being able to find a certain spice, vegetable or condiment.

But if you have access to a Middle Eastern market near you- make sure to go and explore!

Here you can buy fresh herbs and spices online to great prices.
