Vegetarian Vitamins

Are Vegetarian Vitamins Really Necessary?

A healthy and varied (lacto-ovo) vegetarian diet should normally require no supplements or vitamins, since the food contains all the nutrition you need.

However, there are times when we all could need some extra support; during stressful times when we are not eating as well as we should for example, or if we have been told by our health practitioner that we need to supplement our diet.

If you are strictly vegan, you will also need to supplement with vitamin B12.
